CINCO DE MAYO
Make your plans now for Cinco de Mayo 2008
In honor of our cultural diversity (and a reason to be festive), we celebrate the Mexican holiday CINCO DE MAYO on the weekend closest to May 5.
Usually, most events are on Saturday. Mariachis perform off and on all day. The Dance is from 9pm to 1am. Dance admission is $3 per person or $5 per couple. Bring your own lawn chairs and ice chest.
Sponsored by the Cinco de Mayo Association, festival activities fund scholarships to graduating Sanderson High School seniors. The local celebration includes a mariachi band, contests, and booths.
